Morgan Hill is an expanding municipality in southern Santa Clara County, about 12 miles south of San Jose. Silicon Valley is a short commute to the north, and the Pacific Ocean is 15 miles to the west over the Santa Cruz Mountains. Morgan Hill is one of the few communities in the region to have retained a semi-rural, small-town atmosphere. Caltrain runs daily through the city, connecting commuters to the San Jose light rail and county bus systems, as well as to cities on the San Francisco Peninsula.
